About this board
The Good Trouble Board is a public workshop for peaceful resistance and civic repair. Anyone can read the board; members post ideas for lawful, non-violent action — protest, mutual aid, voter work, legal support, creative organising. The ideas with the most public backing get passed to organisations and activists who can put them into practice.
How an idea moves
- 1. You post it. Plain language: what it is, who it's for, what it needs. It enters the review queue.
- 2. We review it. A human checks it against the ground rules below. Approved ideas go live on the board; anything violent, harassing or illegal is rejected and never published.
- 3. People back it. Readers upvote and add practical detail in the comments — permits, timing, what worked locally.
- 4. We pass it on. The strongest ideas go to the organisations and activists on our list, matched by focus and location.
Ground rules
- · Lawful and non-violent, without exception.
- · No harassment, doxxing, or targeting of individuals.
- · No calls to break the law, damage property, or evade police.
- · Practical and specific — something people could actually do.
- · Respect de-escalation and know-your-rights practice in every action.
Ideas are reviewed before publishing. Breaking the rules gets your idea rejected; repeated violations get your account removed.
